Toronto got fleeced on the Kessel trade and previously on the trade that gave Boston Tuukka Rask… Kaberle made up for the Rask trade at least. That was about as dismal of a performance as I could have imagined Kaberle putting on- and he got worse this year, somehow.

Toronto is learning the hard way that you don’t trade within the division. This could haunt them for many years to come.

I understand how stacked the 2011 draft was but I still can’t believe Hamilton fell to 9th. It will be interesting to look back on this draft in a few years and see how it all worked out.
