The league should demand that (Barnie Rubble head) Brian Burke should never, ever, ever be allowed to trade again with Boston.

Not only did he screw himself and the Leafs, he set up a divisional opponent for the next 10 years. Now the Leafs will be competing for a playoff spot against young stars who should be in their lineup. Nice.

Did he get a Stanley Cup ring last year?

Toronto got fleeced on the Kessel trade and previously on the trade that gave Boston Tuukka Rask... Kaberle made up for the Rask trade at least. That was about as dismal of a performance as I could have imagined Kaberle putting on- and he got worse this year, somehow.

As if it wasn't hard enough for Kessel to play in Boston.

Toronto is learning the hard way that you don't trade within the division. This could haunt them for many years to come.

I understand how stacked the 2011 draft was but I still can't believe Hamilton fell to 9th. It will be interesting to look back on this draft in a few years and see how it all worked out.
