Anyway, I’m going to start “lifing my life” tomorrow, when we Kings bring the hammer down on this financial scam known as the Phoenix Coyotes ! I mean seriously, why aren’t they called the Phoenix “Madoffs” ? … or the Phoenix “Enrons” ? … why do they have to go and cowardly hide behind the name of some kindly desert creature like the coyote ? Call me stupid if you will, but I’ve yet to meet a coyote who bilks taxpayers to the tune of $60 million per year ? Anyway, laying waste to the “House Which Gary Built” will not only be satisfying from a King’s point of view … as well, their annihilation is going to help restore the overall financial health of the league ! …

I’d suggest a good chunk of NHL players would like for their lives to be that way. You get to be rich, play hockey for a living at the highest level, but still get to live your life.

That said, Yandle’s a pretty unremarkable looking dude, so I don’t know that Phoenix is the only NHL city this would happen in.
