Really? US Cellular Field is on this list, REALLY? What a joke. That stadium is great after they renovated it. The way it is now is the way it should’ve been built in the first place. Whoever made this list needs to really do their research. Idiot!

Probably has the feel of the Spectrum. Maybe when they build a new one the new corporate clientele will also change your let’s go flyers chant to mimic the rangers like happened in Philly.

I enjoy Wrigley Where for $75 you can get a seat from which you can’t see the scoreboard totally or watch a pop up after it goes up in the air. Also fly balls to the outfield are invisible. Had that experience…..once.

Has the person who did this list actually been to these places. Been to SF, Oakland and Minnesota’s stadiums, and Caddlestick is definitely the worst one. So how does it end up at only #6?

Went to the NVMC for the first time this year – it felt like I was in a time machine! I actually liked it more than I thought I would as there is a retro feel to the place (like the old-school 80s-like score board). I get why they need a new place, though. Walking the concourse and looking at food options was kinda like being in a Flintstones episode – seeing the same thing over and over again – no real variety. The concourse itself is quite small as well. Definitely past it’s time but charming in its own odd way.

As a Red Sox fan it pains me to say this, but…

From a straight up facility stand point Fenway Park is an awful facility. The list isn’t talking about history or how beloved the stadiums/arenas/ball parks are. And while Fenway would be incredibly high on a best of list if that was what was being ranked, that isn’t how they’re being ranked.

Don’t know the other places, just NVMC and Fenway. I wonder whether the people who made this list actually attended games at NVMC and Fenway. If you haven’t attended a baseball game at Fenway and Chicago’s Wrigley Field, you only THINK you know what the MLBaseball is really like. They are probably the two BEST places in the world to experience a baseball game.

NVMC really isn’t all that bad from a fan’s perspective. I’ve attended MANY games there over the 30+ years, inlcuding about a half dozen this past season. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, the sightlines are great and I have enjoyed the experience (less so, of course, when the Isles lose, but that’s another story!). From Bettman’s standpoint, the place doesn’t have luxury boxes that will make more money for the NHL. The facilities for the players may not be good. And no one outside of the mayor of Asbestos, Quebec likes asbestos.

Sadly it looks to be a moot point as to NVMC. Neither the County, the Town or the voters seem disposed to give the Islanders a reason to stay. So after 2015, the place where the last team in any sport to win 4 straight championships and the only team in any sport to win 19 straight playoff series did those deeds will become history. Somewhere I hear Doris Day…ah there it is…

Please. As if anything could ever top the Trop. Light the Metrodome on fire and re-collapse the roof and it’s still better than the Trop. They ground up tires to scatter around the outfield. The warning track is carpet. Light bulbs routinely shatter and fall onto fans / players / everywhere. And there’s a catwalk that gets in the way of everything.
