How can you get Parise in Detroit if Carolina and Minnesota and Boston get him and the Devils keep him? There is only 1 Parise correct?

I love how everyone is looking at their teams roster next year with Suter and Parise…classic.

Stuart would be awesome to keep, he’s solid ( though i’ve never seen more pucks go in off of someone in my life ), but i realistically think he’s gone to the West for a while at least
Jiri Hudler has played heck of a lot better this year than in the last few, but he’s expendable if we pick up someone else, or let our young guns step in
Holmstrom is important in that Nick and Tomas are best friends, may not be a bad idea to keep him around
Give Helm a long contract, he deserves it, Abdelkater and Quincey would both ideally get short term deals, nether has played up to their potential, and if they dont play well enough, trade talks could be warranted

Lidstrom deserves whatever he wants, though i think, if he wants as many Cups as his jersey’s predicted for 20 years, he may need to take a bit of a hometown discount

I’ve honestly been ridiculously impressed with Smith and Nyquist, both are solid players, and Gustav reminds me of Helm in that whenever he’s on the ice, he’s making life ridiculously difficult for the other guys.

Mule has begun to waste ice time… very little to show for it.

Mixing it up is important. Good young talent that need active leadership on the ice, as well as in the locker room.

Give Lidstrom whatever he wants! Look at what happened when he was out of the lineup this year, and his presence will help attract a great defenseman (Suter?). Keep Holmstrom unless he decides his knees can’t take it anymore. Definitely keep Helm (5 yrs) and Abdelkader. Dump Hudler and Quincey immediately! The future is with Brendan Smith, Gustav Nyqvist, Jan Mursak, and Zach Parise!

If all that happens, and say the Devils get knocked out in conference finals, sign Parise and grab Suter from Nashville.

Keep Helm and Abs. Quincey needs to play a heck of a lot next year based on what we saw after we grabbed him the past season.
