Yet Holmgren was left off of the awards finalist lol. Yet we have an entire new team and we had 10 rookies+ play on our team. Yet where is the love. I wonder how it will go 5 years from now when everyone hits their prime. Not to mention we have 1 of the best rated young goalies in Bobrovski.

Should add that the depth these players provided w/ the Isles AHL affiliate in Bridgeport, CT allowed the Isles to call up quality prospects without greatly impacting the Bridgeport squad.

Granted the Rolston-Mottau deal was addition by subtraction for the Isles, but I wouldn’t say Boston gave up nothing. The players acquired are solid AHLers who may develop into NHLers.

Can’t blame him. He got called for charging in Game 1 on a ludicrous call – for taking a ‘run’ at Greene. (Imagine getting called for taking a run at someone…your leading Conn Smythe candidate Dustin Brown would not be quite as effective.)

If the Canucks acquired Kassian to be physical then I’m surprised. It seemed they didn’t want him to do that considering every time he hit someone or the game was getting physical he got stapled to the bench.
