Pierre is a Pens guy, but this series has seen All the analysts tout the Caps. In Gm 4 Olcyck said that he thought Caps would win the series with a win in game 4. The entire discussion goes on ad naseum about Caps as it did last night, If one listened and no score was posted you would get the impression that Caps were winning 5-0 or so. Been a great series but game 7 is in the Garden and that is why they play the regular season. Home ice is all about gm 7, and Rangers are 4-0 at Garden in gm 7′s, don;t see any reason why they won’t once again prevail in this one.

BIAS towards the Caps??????? LOL…..You have obviously never watched an NBC Caps game during the regular season or against the Pens. McGuire and Milbury despise the Caps along with the rest of NBC.

NBC (and the NHL for that matter) definately wanted the Flyers, and rightfully so. All they care about are ratings. Nobody is going to watch the boring Devils. They don’t even have a fan base – from Trenton down are Flyers fans and everyone above Trenton is a wannabe New Yorker. NHL & NBC hockey execs are having nightmares about a possible Devils/Coyotes final.

The only final NBC wants now is LA Kings vs. NY Rangers, so get ready for more of the same next round if the Caps can’t pull the upset on Saturday.

I’m not a fan of either team, but NBC seems much more impartial with this series than the Flyers/Devils series. Logically, if NBC were to have a rooting interest in this series, it should be for the Rangers, with their larger NY market and the prospect of playing up the 1994: The Rematch storyline of the ECF.

I don’t care who wins. Bring it on! Let’s go, Devils!!!

The caps are a good team as are the rangers . Two very similar teams right now and the caps have had the rangers number except for 1994 .i’m hoping for a W by the rangers but by no means will it be easy and it could certainly be a repeat of 2009 when the caps won in 7 . This has been a real gritty , rough , clean series IMO and though I want a new York victory , I am glad I have no $$$ on this game . Too close to call.

I don’t know if you have watched the entire series but it’s always a NY love fest! It may be a matter of which team is playing better at the time but I wouldn’t consider NBC a love fest with the caps.

im really disgusted at nbc’s love affair with the washington capitals. im not for either team. so when i turn on a game thats obviously being commented and reported by reporters and commentators with a bias towards one team really makes it annoying to tune in and watch. you at abc should be ashamed at the fact that you consider yourseves impartial.
