that comment is why you’re NOT a team owner. Hitch has been a fantastic coach this season, even with taking a couple years off and having coach rust to deal with. no one else other than Sutter could’ve turned this team around the way Hitch did.

i am THRILLED the Blues are owned by a local group again, our future is so bright we gotta wear shades!

For some reason Vigneault seems like a fit with the Blues. Maybe because he played there? Maybe because he talked Nonis into sending an offer sheet to Backes. I don’t know.

I am as excited about the possibilities just like every Blues fan, but I would hold off on the expectations of Schwartz and Tarasenko for next year. I think they will be great in years to come, but there is a reason Schwartz did not play in the playoffs and Tarasenko is not yet playing in the worlds. I think there are many reasons to be excited, but don’t put top 5 expectations on the guy for next year.

I also agree that the Blues need a better partner for Pietrangelo. While Suter would be awesome, everyone wants him this year. Hopefully there are still some good D-men out there that are better than what the Blues had this year, which shouldn’t be too difficult.

Why would the Blues want Vigneault? Because they want a coach that can guide a really expensive lineup into the playoffs where they inevitably get beat? We already had that with Quenneville…

It sucks that he don’t have Terry Puguela money but it’s still awesome, it gives this organization a lot more stability. For off season plans bring in Taresenko this guy is may be top 5 in talent out of NHL and may be one of the best prospects and is like the next Ovi or Geno this kid has it all well rounded. I think Schwartz takes 3rd line center role this kid drafted the 2 spots before Tareseko is also the real deal I think this kid could be a amazing #2 center and possibly a #1 center he just needs to add strength and weight because he has hockey sense if you didn’t know he was a rookie you would think he’s been in the NHL for a while. So the forward positions don’t need much change it’s the defense that does. I think we all know about how good Petro is what about the partners he’s had? not good He needs a actual first pairing d man one that doesn’t hold him back but makes him better Sutter please please I think he would make Petro so much better.
