If you are truly a Penguins fan rooting for the Caps solely because of what a coach said about your team, turn in your Cindy jersey now. I wouldn’t root for the Devils if Laviolette took a dump on center ice at MSG!
As for Torts comments, truth only hurts the guilty!
As for this article, OV has nothing to worry about. Shanahan set the precedent in round one.

Overrated? There the team that led the eastern conference in what way does that make them overrated. They were not predicted to finish in the top 4 in the eastern conference let alone the top spot in it and top two in the league. On top of that no series is supposed to be easy and OV gave an illegal check whether or not that is warranted for a suspension is a different story but it was illegal hence the penalty. As for Torts slamming the penguins sorry he has a pair and is willing to talk though when he voices his opinion he gets fined hence his silence. Your reason for rooting the capitals is cause you hate the rangers or torts; which is fine. To say that they are overrated is a joke. Your comment on the lack of talent is correct when compared to the capitals, penguins, flyers and many other teams but what is funny is where the rangers are now compared to pitt. Compared to flyers who are down 3-1 to another team with less talent but who work harder. This is the new nhl buddy being tied 2-2 doesn’t mean caps have it and talent alone does not win. if you really knew anything about the rangers for 1 you wouldn’t have this opinion that they are overrated and gagging on their lack of talent. You would reailize they are not overrated. You would realize that they have thrived despite not having talent all year long. You would realize that a team does not need crosby, malkin giroux or ov to host the cup just a commitment to win and a good goaltender. See PHX, NASH, LA, NJ, NYR, STL all teams that succeed with a defense first goalie leading concept. In summary you have no idea what you are talking about.

It’s crazy, but I find myself rooting for the “hated” Capitals because of the way Tort slammed the Penguins organization a few weeks back. It’s kind of fun watching the overrated Rags gag on their own lack of talent:)
