However, the Canucks looked like a team without a system for half the season, and were unprepared and uninterested in three home playoff games. If they had fired Vigneault in Feb/March, maybe the team would have responded like the Kings and Caps, and Aquilini would have made a couple million more. Aquilini should demand Gillis fire Vigneault, and see how he reacts. After the trades this year, I’ve lost faith that Gillis has a cohesive plan.
