Did you see how healthy the Flyers were this year? They are still without their future hall of fame defensemen and captain. Zajac is a nice player but a hall of famer he is not. I am pretty sure Pronger would have propelled the Flyers to more wins of the course of the season.

It’s playoff hockey. Every team plays their heart out, including the Florida Panthers. But every series is a new series. Boston struggled a bit in the first round last year, and ended up winning it all.
In my opinion, this is probably the most evenly matched matchup we’ll see all playoffs. If the Flyers and Flyers fans don’t think so, that might be why they’re down 2-1.

it’s amazing how people look at a scorer’s sheet and comes to an stupid conclusion. +/- stat is the most useless stat in hockey. it’s well known. I counted 3 or 4 great opportunities last night from Giroux.

Can anyone explain how the Devils are an “inferior team” or why the Flyers are “heavily favored???”
Both teams had the same amount of wins this season (48) and the Devils top centre (Travis Zajac) only played in 15 games during the season.
