I'll admit I am a closet Florida/Tampa fan (since I am trying to get transfered their for my job) but this should stop all this silly non-sense about Tampa relocating. It just shows that if owners are willing to spend a little money on the product and/or building, the fans will show up reguardless of the location.

From everything I heard, Atlanta had less than below ownership that didn't really care about them. The fans revolted and stopped showing, unfortunately, it cost them their franchise. Winnipeg and Minnesota and learned that that hard way, but were lucky enough to get franchises back.

Once Florida started winning, their fan support started to incease, they are up nearly 1,000 fans per game this year than last year. Up 2,000 fans this year from the last time they made the playoffs in the 2000-01 season.

The only 2 consistant teams are Phoenix and the Islanders. They haven't been above 22nd in the league since the lockout in any one year. The past few years they both rank dead last.

Jeff Vinick is a world class owner and we couldn't be luckier to have him. This display came out of his own pocket after pumping $40M of his own money into the publicly owned arena last year. We now have one of the premier buildings in the NHL.

Go Bolts!

Damn, I knew the Dallas screen was big, but not that big. 180' x 50'... For comparison the second largest is BC Place's new screen which measures 59' x 36'.

Of course... It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it amiright?
