He also made a couple of big stops in one flurry in OT when it looked as if the Flyers were going to have a letdown after the overturned goal. I was at the game and my pulse stopped for an instant. He didn’t let the bad ones effect the next ones.

“No Goal” would have to be right up there, I would think.

That said, a battle between Cleveland and Buffalo to see who’s sports teams have had the most pain over the years would be a pretty even and epic battle.

Still wouldn’t have won the game without his first period. I agree he was bad in the second and third, but they would’ve been put away in the first without him.

Buffalo is a city that has experienced more sports heartbreak than arguably any other city. The day we lost Drury and Briere for nothing and had Vanek offersheeted is probably the worst day in Buffalo sports history. That’s how highly Briere was thought of. And our GM is still employed by us for some reason.

at least he was on side this time…almost the exact same play in the same situation in a game one. he definitely got them going, they needed a goal and he stepped up. the ot winner was more of jvr’s hard work than briere’s but the way they were dominating the ot period, if it wasnt briere it wouldve been someone else sooner than later. this is where guys earn their money, and he is a ppg guy in the playoffs, what else can you say?

The thing that’s frustrating about Bryz is he seems to play as well as he has to.

In the 1st period he kept the Flyers alive.

The 3rd goal was the worst he has given up in the playoffs. In the Pitt series, he didn’t give up the game changing goal. Yesterday, he gave up what could have been two of those type goals.

(TSN)” — for almost 6 million dollars..i agree. we expected more. he has definitely shown flashes of what we need here in philly but he has lacked consistency. although, i can’t blame all the goals during the pit series on him. however, yesterday, he let in 2 soft goals.
