The Sharks would be wise to keep Niemi if they’re serious about contending. A trade involving Thornton/Marleau makes more sense given where the Sharks are at, although those guys probably aren’t what CBJ will be in the market for. I don’t see Nash to SJ happening.

Griess sucks as a goalie. But I would trade Niemi, because of Alex Stalock. And then get a real NHL backup and I would be happy in goal.

But as long as Doug Wilson and Todd McLellan remain this team will win a stanley cup.

It’s really a shame that fans have to suffer through bad coaching and bad trades, because our ownership like the Maple Leafs is clueless.
