i agree completely with that. However, it doesn’t happen often that a player from the losing team wins it, and its usually a goalie. In fact, only one non-goalie has ever won the CS as a member of the losing team… Reggie Leach in 1976.

But your right, the very fact that no one else on the Blackhawks deserved it means that it should have gone to Briere.

Yeah, I remember all too well what he did to the Flyers as a Sabre in the 2006 playoff series. Stole the first game with a goal in OT and made plays all over the place throughout the series. I too am glad he came to Philly.

I’m a Flyers fan and haven’t always been crazy about Danny B, but I have to admit, he takes his game to another stratosphere in the playoffs.

I wasn’t sure he would be able to do it this year after such a rough season, but I was wrong, and am happy to be wrong! After game 1 of the Pittsburgh series, I swore I’d never complain about him ever again during the regular season when he phones it in.

Yea, Danny B is special. You can’t explain it. Once the month of April comes, he finds a way to be a vocal point of the offense. It’s fun to watch and hopefully he, and the rest of the team, get rewarded for their work.
