This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the Kings closely for the past couple of months. Penner has really picked up his game and made the third line very uncomfortable for opposing teams.

When he was paired with Richards and Carter, he was very effective, in particular in the Vancouver series. That, coupled with Dwight King’s poor play in the Vancouver series, this is a no-brainer move for Sutter.

I see good things coming out of the Richards line in the St. Louis series.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th …

Whatever line Penner plays on is completely irrelevant, as the juggernaut which is our LA Kings will have 4 lines rolling throughout, in a determined and unrelenting attack on the St Louis net ! Goals will be coming from everywhere and anywhere … and there will be many of them, very many. You people think we did a number on the Canucks ? … well the fact is that our Kings are only now starting to hit their stride !
