friend … that’s an interesting observation as there are some definite parallels … great goaltending, a fast and physical offense, clutch scoring, etc … not to mention the same coach !… we’ll see how this goes, as it sure would be fun for us to get to a game seven in the finals, eh !

We win again friends ! … just as I knew we would. Unfortunately I missed the game today, as I’ve just come home from doing a volunteer landscaping job. My back is hurting and my muscles are aching, yet words can’t do justice to the joy which I’m now feeling upon learning of our victory ! … and no doubt friends, you too are feeling overcome by this wonderful news ! Regardless, it’s important that we Kings stay focused and press home the attack with even greater zeal in game 2 ! Today was an excellent start for us in this second round, no two ways about that. Yet it’s important that we take nothing for granted here, as I’m convinced that these Blues will be tougher for us to defeat than those “violent fems” from Vancouver. Nonetheless, we’ve yet to bring our big guns to bear (ie: Carter, Richards, Doughty, Kopitar and company) . So when we do, and we will friends, then God help the poor souls on the receiving end of our glorious wrath ! GO KINGS GO !

Difficult to mount a comeback while in the box that much in the third. Also difficult for the Blues because they were missing their best player. If Pietrangelo misses any more games, I see this series being very short. The loss of him would be like Nashville losing Weber, Boston losing Chara, or Ottawa losing Karlsson. I don’t see how they replace a player like that.
