Didn’t your team already get eliminated? in 5 games I believe, scoring 8 goals, which is only slightly better than the 8 goals they scored in the Finals last year.

So which city are you from?

In each of the leagues, there is a total of 10 cities that have won since the Boston teams last titles, Pats ’04 (Pitt, Indy, NY, NO & GB). Sox ’07 (Philly, NY, SF, & STL), Celts ’08 (LA & Dallas) and B’s ’11 (none).

Of those cities, Pitt, Indy, New Orleans, Green Bay, Los Angeles and St. Louis can’t field teams in all 4 sports, so they all suck.

That leaves NY, Dallas, Philly and San Fran (giving them credit for San Jose) with 4 sports teams like Boston, however the Rangers (last two WS chokes) and San Jose (Perrenial top sead bowing out early) have never won, leaving just NY and Philly have 4 teams that have won in all 4 sports.

Philly, the great sports city they are has won 5 championships amongst iot’s 4 teams in the last 50 years. Let that sink in for a second.

So that leaves NY, the city that even their football teams don’t want to be in and the home of the Knicks and Rangers who have 3 championships between them in the last 70 years.

So random commenter, which crappy city are you from? I’m originally from Boston and not afraid to admit it.

tough enough to beat THIS bruins team, yes. they were soft these playoffs. the losses of horton and mcquaid and the thornton scratch just made them like any other playoff team but without the overall talent. just not nearly as exciting of a team to watch. if you’re going to lose a series, go down fighting (literally)

Has been a great series and a nail biter as a caps fan. Just wish game 7 was called evenly, late hits are a penalty if they call a holding penalty 1 on 1.
