After being embarrassed badly by a mediocre Pred team with a
good goalie [ie. not great], the Wings should let Holmstrom, Franzen and Bertuzzi go.
Sorry to say. These guys were great when they could hold their own but not NOW.
Bertuzzi's best play was showing up to handout some punishing
retribution...to salvage some dignity for the Wings team.
Nobody else was PO'd????

Nobody in front of the opposing goalie makes the guy look like a Vezina trophy
finalist now. Geeessh.

Howard was spectacular at under 2 GAA and stll gets ousted.....
Something wrong when you have one of the best +/- teams
in the league and are gone in 1st round......sick.

Need a goal scorer and sound defensemen like Helm
that can skate. Helm reminds me of Bobby Orr.
Great when he is healthy..Hope he can make it
longer than Orr did.

Wings looked like they did not want to play for Babcock too.
Might be more going on in thate LR than peeps will say.
With all that they still outclass many other teams.

The NHL is looking weak when they use the refs to manipulate
the game for the weaker teams ALL FOR REDISTRIBUTING
FAN BASE AND MONEY...... not too obvious when all MAJOR
LEAGUE lEADING teams ALL YEAR either being ousted or
on their way to being ousted. All about the games 7's and $$$$$$

Yeah Phoenix and Nashville now there's real history making NHL series for ya!
They need the money in both cities to stay afloat.. NHL announcers are handed
orders to back this crap.......Nice job Engblom drooling over NASHVILLE????? LoL

My fotter is a mutter too and we both dont know
what to do to Oct-opy our time now.
Sad when the ice has melted in Hockeytown so early.

I don't think Homer has anything left in the tank but Lidstrom could still play another year. Whatever they decide to do, its been fun to watch them throughout their careers.
