Kassian hasn’t immediately worked out for the Canucks, but they need to be patient; big guys often take a little longer to develop, and when/if they do, they are worth their weight in gold…….as far as Gillis throwing Hodgson under the bus, well……this is the guy that thinks that a regular season game in January threw off his teams “focus” for the rest of the season, so that’s all you really need to know……

its ok, he’s having fun playing mini-stick hockey with gerbe and ennis now! (not a joke,completely, its true–Cody said he was invited over gerbe’s to do this after their first game)

Gillis should just take the high road on this one and say something like, “We traded a good player named Cody Hodgson for a good player named Zack Kassian.” I did not like the comments Gillis made about Hodgson because it was completely unnecessary. There were enough rumors that the media knew the behind the scenes story. When Hodgson returned to Vancouver, he took the high road. Gillis showed a lack of composure to blurt that one out.

Gillis showed a lack of class in his comments about Hodgson. Answering questions on that deal could have been handled with more tact. Vancouver wonders why everyone hates their team. Just look at your leadership.
