Campbell hasn't played a lot more games than Moulson. Moulson just played a lot of his games in college and the AHL. Of course, that's irrelevant as the award is about what they did THIS YEAR and they both played in all 82 this year.

I do not doubt that Campbell is deserving in his own way. Moulson, however, should get the award. He is constantly giving himself up in front of the net and taking vicious hits with out retaliating. In a recent game at NVMC, Brooks Orpik bodyslammed him to the ice and then slashed him in the face, requiring multiple stitches. the bodyslam was called but the slash was not. Other than protesting the non-call to the officials, Moulson said nothing. He merely went in, got stitched and came out to finish the game.

Like his mentor Mike Bossy, he repeatedly takes horrendous abuse but will not allow it to distract him from his mission: to score goals which he does very well. Like his mentor, he should win the Byng.
