At this point, every team has or is willing to clear cap space for a “high end forward.” All these GMs going off about how they plan to make a big splash come silly season is going into Parise’s (and Suter’s) ears and reinterpreted as “ka-ching!” The GMs are doing nothing but driving up their market value.

I think he is gone no matter what but this would easily help him pack his bags to the highest bidder this summer.

He will enjoy his $7.5 million dollar deal somewhere else than NJ
