friend ... I fear that you may sport the "whiskers and tail" of a Canucks rat ? ... therefore I ask of you, do you count yourself as a member of the horde which we know as Canuck's Nation, or are you one of us Kings, who merely pokes fun in jest ? ... my sincere hope is that truth resides with the latter ... and God willing, it does ... :)

friend ... like you, I'm also admittedly feeling some trepidation at the moment ... but don't despair ... on Sunday night we renew hostilities will the Canucks again ... and though this time it'll be on ground of his choosing, I'm nonetheless convinced that with skill, determination and honor, we LA Kings will emerge victorious ! :)

This benefits the Canucks far more. The break gives Daniel a chance to get back in shape and for them to get some solid practices in with their full lineup. If I'm LA I'm starting to get concerned.

MAGNANIMITY

"magnanimity is the virtue of being great of mind and heart ... it usually encompasses a refusal to be petty, a willingness to face danger and actions that are for noble purposes" ...

As an ardent, loyal and "values-driven" LA Kings supporter, I admit that I was bemused yesterday by Coach Sutter's decision to offer the Canucks a stay of execution. But now 24 hours later, the wisdom of his decision becomes crystal clear to me. For us to have dispatched the President's Trophy winner in a ruthless clean sweep the way I had been advocating, would simply not have been the right thing to do. These people are after all the "very best" which the NHL has to offer and therefore they're deserving of some dignity at the end. Nonetheless, they get "one" game and "one" game only ! It's now imperative that we Kings finish them off for good without any further ado ! Now these Canucks are not only cornered and wounded rats ... they're now "excited" cornered and wounded rats ! ... and trust me friends, that is positively the most dangerous type of vermin which you could ever face ! So no more "nice guy" stuff Mister Sutter, please ! We need to finish this job and we need to finish it now !

GO KINGS GO !
