Exactly. Why do you think Blackhawk fans were most wary of Nashville down the stretch of the regular season? They are by far the best team and forcing opponents to do this.

I don’t know about that. They still need a second line center, a physical forward (gee, they gave up one in Brouwer), and another defenseman. Leddy is young, but he’s brutal Took the wrong angle which led to the breakaway, just one instance of his many errors each game. The kid has good upside, especially as an offensive dman, but yikes. And Oduya has proven in the playoffs, to be the opposite of the guy who finished the stretch with the Hawks.

Hopefully they’ll make the necessary changes, but then again, the brain-trust told the fans that they carved out cap room so they could use it for the stretch. Ooops.

Do you watch hockey much? The Hawks struggled all year vs teams like this.

The Hawks were a flawed team to begin with, note their fourth place finish.

And let’s face it, neither team is going past the second round anyways.

The better team won tonight. I’m not sure where this Boyd Gordon came from, but he was unbelievable tonight. Smith played huge too. That was one of the lamest goals I have ever seen. Crawford sucks.
