How can you say that the goal was Erskine's fault? He took away the other two players on the 3-on-1 and who was the last player up the ice? Dennis Wideman! Although, It should be split 50-50 on who's fault it was... ATROCIOUS TURNOVER by Ovechkin

Child please. Ference fell in front of Ovie, that wasn't even remotely a penalty. It was a well-played, well-officiated game...deal with it. The only non-calls Pierre McGuire mentioned were actually infringements by the Bruins against Mike Green (high-strick) and Matthew Perrault (slash- leading to a great scoring chance for Boston).

The B's lost a key game to a 7-seed playing without arguably their best player. That's what you fans should be concerned with.

That being said, you still have the upper hand with the series going back to Boston. The back-to-back games over the weekend should be incredible. I'm thinking this series gets decided in a Game 7 OT.

The refs helped greatly to ameliorate the goat's influence by calling all sorts of phantom ticky-tack garbage on the B's and letting the Caps get away with a blatant open-field tackle by Ovechkin on Ference (directly leading to their first goal) as well as an obvious trip in the third period. Totally disgusted.

Shocking!

Tonight's 1st period goal is more attributable to the defensive muscle Wideman was paired with who hadn't played since February. He punches from the soul but lets others score goals. He looked so confused it was almost sad....
