Coach Q should tell Bettman to stick that $10k where the sun don’t shine. Why does the NHL protect the refs, even when they absolutely suck?

Nice of the NHL to let us know what their priorities are. Pointing out the offciating has been terrible will get you punished but the officials who fail to do their jobs are given yet another free pass. Great.

Anyone else notice the absurdity of the NHL fining Quenneville, a coach, for exercising free speech $10k, but Weber got $2,500 for bashing Zetterberg’s head into the boards and breaking his helmet in two pieces?

Absolutely ridiculous.

10K well spent…Wakom leads a parade of officials with selective eyesight, year in and year out: his eyesight improves dramatically for fouls against teams from Ontario, first and Canada generally when playing American sides! They actually had this clown as the head of officials yet…? It beggars belief: still, year in and year out the NHL cannot bring this embarrassment into order. I would love to see an independent review of the NHL’s system of officiating beginning with Bettman’s refusal to permit criticism followed by examination of official’s personal finances and gaming habits. Watch these games, and you know something smells…

Its too bad Quiny feels this way about a hockey hit. The whole Hawk team was Squaking about Daniel Sedin was just faking it until the Low Class Keith got his suspension and he would be back. KARMA. But I do hope Hossa is not hurt and gets back soon. Go Yotes Go. LOL 10K might break the Chicago Black Hawks bank account.
