Canucks, Sharks, Pens = Done this weekend.
Hate to see Kings, Blues, Flyers risk injury by letting it go 6 and only postpone the inevitable.

One more thought, anyone else notice the change in Richards play since he and Kesler came together in game 2 and Richards ended up with a bleeding nose. I think he hurt his “snorting” nostril. lol it’s just that the media has hyped up the sweep opportunity. It really could and should have happened.

But I agree with you, Vancouver had too much time off last season, or they weren’t tested hard enough. Boston on the other hand had 7, 4, 7 playoff series, and they were the champion.

But… sweeps aren’t good for anyone.

Not the NHL and revs… not even the teams that win. Too much time off the ice is a bad thing during the playoffs.

I like 6 game series…. which you’ll see against Canucks and Pens. Sid will be free to enroll in the next session of Tantrum Counseling, after mom is finished with his spankings.

It’s still going to be really hard for the Canucks. But the schedule is in their favour and if they can keep taking leads into the third… I like their chances of pulling this series out more the Detroit or Pittsburgh at least.

Will be a disaster if the best team on regular season have a early exit and now Vancouver will need a huge turn around to pass this round.
Because of this situation Vancouver will have to play the 7 games and that will create physical disadvantage to them.

Don’t bank on Wings or Canucks going out anytime soon…Predators and Kings are living on borrowed time and both better pray they keep getting bounces as both are sorely over-matched man on man. If NBC is enjoying its ratings, watch what a potential Nashville v. Phoenix series does to the ratings; can you spell zzzzzzzz?

And if they hadn’t made two very poor plays that resulted in shortys by Brown, they probably would have won game 2.

Vancouver is hardly favoured to win the series just because of this one win, but they are in a very good position to win at home and make it 3-2. That changes the series.

Daniels presence was unreal tonight, the defensive coverage that Henrik gets when he’s on the ice compared to when he’s not is night and day. That first period was one literally could have been the worst period they played in all of the first 3 games, but 2nd on it was just a different story. Daniel looked like he had his timing back and they were just lights out as usual.

They’ve managed to put a lil doubt and at least a little bit of pressure back on to LA, but that being said … 3 – 0 is basically an insurmountable mountain to climb.

It was great to watch the Sedins doing their wtf 2 foot passes like old times. Great goaltending from Schneider as usual. None of this will be enough to complete a comeback. Nucks had to take one of those first 3, I think.

A bit disappointing to not see any sweeps happening in the first round, especially top contenders too. Won’t be able to see any eliminations until Friday (Penguins and Red Wings on the line)

But this game, gotta give it to Schneider. He’s so much more consistent than Luongo.
Daniel Sedin’s presence, I didn’t really expect it coming.

Kings weren’t physical enough, what happened to the hits on Daniel Sedin that should have happened?
