Hat we don’t understand is if he’s getting suspended for that, then why are they letting pretty much everything the bruins are doing go?

The sad thing is the bruins take most of their many cheap shots AFTER the play is already dead. At least backstrom did his during play. Boston really should have been penalized for this a long time ago. It’s been going on forever and the NHL just seems to ignore it because it’s Boston’s “reputation.”

People see Caps as finesse because they scored a ton of goals a few seasons ago. So when Ovechkin lays a guy out or backstrom puts someone in the boards it must be dirty, right?

If you say Backstrom was in the wrong, fine… But then you must admit the bruins have been getting away with murder…
