^I NEVER do this, and I’ve gotten plenty of thumbs down in my day, but how could anyone that’s objective possibly have a problem with what I said? That officiating wasn’t absolutely mind-blowing in it’s awfulness?

I don’t mean to detract from what the Panthers did tonight, but let’s call a spade a spade.

Worst officiated game I’ve ever been too, and it isn’t even close. Is there ANY explaining the disallowed goal, or is that just Bettman rearing his bald, stupid, ugly Devils-hating head. WE WON IN 95 GARY. IT HAPPENED. YOU STILL GOT YOUR TEAM IN NASHVILLE. LET THIS SILLY VENDETTA GO!!!

Having said that, despite the brutal officiating, (and as I said and I hope reiterating the point dispels any notion of hyperbole that is was in fact, the worst I’ve ever seen and I’ve been a season ticket holder since Izod was called Brendan Byrne) two of those goals let in by Marty were Charmin-soft. DeBoer has a real dilemma on his hands with who to give the nod to in game 4.

Brodeur needs to retire. Love how kovulchuck always just does some fancy stick handling then turns the puck over before a shot or pass. Great investment.

As a Devils fan, 3 things that always scare me:

#1 – Peter Deboer coaching with his hands in his pockets

#2 – When up 3-0, trying to kill a 53 minute power play with a prevent defense

#3 – Wondering why we dealt for Marek Zidlicky…his better days were years ago!

1) IDK about winning the series, but the Panthers are sure giving the Devils some fits. Maybe this will go 7 after all.

2) Brodeur’s toast. If Hedburg isn’t in net for game 4, Devils are gonna be in big trouble.
