Daniel Sedin is definitely a good guy, no doubt … but he’s a fool. His intention of returning to the Canuck’s lineup for tomorrow night’s game, makes about as much sense as some loyal 7th Cavalry trooper trying to come to Custer’s aid during the closing stages of battle at the Little Big Horn back in 1876. He’d be much better served to sit this one out and instead focus on mending his hurts … do the right thing Daniel and let “that” which God ordains happen …

I yearn for the days when I was in as bad a shape as Daniel…? This would be a good year for Daniel to stay on modified duties…it looks like one of those years when players can run at anyone from half way across the ice salon gas he touched the puck in recent memory?

Well the schedule is giving Daniel one more day to practice with Henrik. We’ll see how that line works. But I am still betting on a sweep here.

His team is down 0-3. People are saying his absence is one of the reasons they are losing. The pressure to come back and play must be enormous even though he’s in the worst shape in the last five years. This seems to be a situation where having an independent assessment for players with concussions makes perfect sense. Is that what they’re doing in this case? Seems like a good story to research, PHT.
