I am lifelong Flyers’ fan and can’t imagine why flyersgoalscoredby88 is attacking this post. There is a lot of trash to be talked in these comment sections and many people who deserve to be verbally assaulted for their inane thoughts and commentary but atb4 stated nothing that should be condemned. It is great to talk trash and go back and forth when warranted but to try insult him is ignorant. You have Pens fans still trashing the Flyers and revering the Pens (genopringles, bobhpine, etc) which is immature. To just attack him for being a Pens fan is as childish, if not more so. Be happy the Flyers won and show respect to others who do not have the same rooting interest as you but are willing to criticize the team they are passionate about.

Other than the odd cheap shot today’s game looked more like figure skating than hockey. There were more hits in any random 5 minutes of last night’s Blues/Sharks game than in the entire Pen/Flyer game today.

I understand frustration at losing, but head-hunting isn’t professional – which these guys are. I used to hate, but somewhat respect the Pens – not anymore. Props to a Pens fan for being unbiased and real. And I don’t know wtf that dude is talking about either…

I’ve been a Penguins fan all of my life, and I’ve never seen anything like I have today. Completely embarrassing display. I understand being frustrated and maybe taking a whack here and there, but attacking the Flyers players is ridiculous and pointless. There is no trash talking any Penguin fan can do, because it’s not warranted. The Penguins are making Lemieux look bad, and it’s embarrassing. The series is probably all but over, but no matter how many more games there are I really hope we don’t see anything like today.
