I don’t think there’s anything wrong with him apologizing, even if it was necessary. We all know he’s right, but there’s nothing wrong with not wanting to be a dick to a whole city.

We like them because they’re usually good for giving up 2 points.

Seriously, we’re big fans of the Nuge here in Vancouver, but the Oilers barely register on our radar. I wish it was different, I would love to see intense Symthe Division games again.

Again, like you said, they’re just not competitive enough to really think much about. I almost forgot Carolina was in the league and would have done the same for Columbus if they weren’t full of so much drama this season.

Nothing to apologize for (except for maybe hurting some people’s feelings; so, ok, sorry for that).

Sorry Edmonton, but as of right now, that’s where things stand. Once your young prospects gain experience (and assuming Edmonton can manage to re-sign and build around them), then you’ll more hate thrown you way than you can handle.

All these apologies are ridiculous. Stand by what you say, especially when it’s true.

People outside of Edmonton actually like the Oilers because they’re an exciting young team. But Cory is right, nobody hates them (outside of Calgary) because why hate a last-place team?
