Highlight Faceoff: Gaborik’s waltz vs Kelly’s rocket

Apr 13, 2012, 10:02 AM EDT

Four of the first seven playoff games have gone to overtime and no team has won by more than two goals. There have been plenty of heroics already, but which of Thursday’s plays were the most impressive? I selected what I feel are the two best highlights from Day 2 of the postseason and I’m asking you to vote for your favorite. Is it Chris Kelly launching a rocket shot that ended the Bruins-Capitals game in overtime or Marian Gaborik maneuvering to the Senators crease and putting one past Craig Anderson? Before you vote, you can view both highlights below:

Think I picked the wrong clips? Let me know what goal, save, or hit was the most impressive in your mind.

Kelly ripped one over Holtby’s shoulder, but Gabby deked and waited for Anderson to make the first move and then snapped it under Anderson.

Kelly’s because it was a game winner. Gaborik’s move was nice though.

Patrik Berglund’s first goal, the deflection thru his legs with his back to the net, is hands down the best highlight of the night. it even made SC’s #1 play…you know a hockey play is special if it even cracks the top 10, let alone #1!

Kelly scored on a play that every goalie in the league would think they could stop. Gaborik’s was pure skill!
