Very Pred biased duo. Among many other give aways…. Rinne makes ‘saves’ but Howard gets ‘lucky’.

Classic case of the need to watch the game with sound off and local radio play by play on.

why does the announcer insist on using Rinne’s first name every time? I never heard him say Jimmy Howard or Henrik Zettterberg but Pekka Rinne, Pekka Rinne, Pekka Rinne….it really annoyed me. I don’t know why – I should laugh it off – but it was ridiculous. I have nothing against Pekka – as a person, as a goalie, as a name. but c’mon already. Just say Rinne. Okay, I’m going to have some ice cream. good game tonight.
