The Devils can be a tough team, but I think the Panthers have more desire. They showed it in the last 40 minutes. Marty had better be really sharp or the Devils with their not-so-tight defense may be in trouble.

The Devils dominated in the first period, but the second was all Panthers – they were beating the Devils to the puck on every play and really pushing the tempo. Even the third wasn’t too great of a performance for the Devils, they got too cute trying to pass cross-ice on the rush rather than grinding it out and cycling behind the net like they should be.

That being said, I’ll definitely take the W
