They lose money, but I believe a lot of it has to do with all the debt they have to service.
Attendance could be better too.

I always enjoy going to Devils games. Can anyone tell me if the rumors are true that they are not profitable? Otherwise, I don’t understand all the talk about whether they will move, they have a nice arena, good fans, and a championship history. A lot of drama here considering all of this.
