That’s probably the painful truth. Just sad to watch this once proud franchise in such a mess.

Hard to argue with any of that. The only thing that makes any sense to me is that he’s being kept so that when the team flounders again next year they have a patsy to sacrifice to the fans rather than Sherman having to lose his job. Even that’s far-fetched, but what else makes any sense? Job performance?

Forget Duchene… what should Avs fans in general think?

Sacco = Mediocrity perfected and excellent at getting the LEAST from this team.

Please no ‘rebuilding garbage’. Feed that to yourself if you actually believe it…. no educated hockey fan is going to buy that. It’s a floundering franchise.

The Avs have supposedly been ‘rebuilding’ since 2004….for about 8 years now.

I’d LOVE to eat my words in 2012–13… but I won’t.
