Happy to see this because these are the 2 upsets I picked. Glad someone agrees. OTT was a higher seed all year and just backed into the playoffs unfortunately. But I remember Anderson vs My sharks 2 years ago. If he is on, he can pull even with Hank, and I would say the Sens have better offense, but worse defense, so its a toss up.

In the west we will see what the Sharks do as the underdog. They definitely CAN do it, and when firing on all cylinders they definitely SHOULD beat the Blues. Lets see if they will. It will take Nemo stepping up to the plate. Also looking forward to Havlat making the playoffs again, and seeing what Burns will do with his first REAL trip to the postseason.

I don't know about the Ottawa, but I believe Ottawa has done fine against the Rangers so far throughout the season, nobody thought that they would even be in the playoffs so I guess they are spoiler material. Now with the Sharks they did not do so well in the season series against the Blues.....but the Sharks never lost by many points when they did lose those games. San Jose also has been fighting just to make the playoffs this year and didn't even win the Pacific division (which should be considered one of the toughest in the NHL) but the Sharks seem to have a fire lit underneath them because of that, and so I could see the Sharks def winning this series against the Blues.

Ottawa - not even remotely. Talented but WEAK WEAK WEAK minded club in playoffs. Perennial on-ice rag dolls. No respect. Every top team HOPED they'd draw the Sens.

Sharks gave Wings grief, but they'll suffer from a serious case of the the Blues.
Win fights, but not Cups. Scratching heads for yet another year.
But... maybe if they ALL play from the bench like Clowe, it could be closer!

I've been saying STL are going out in the first round all along. This whole scenario reminds
me of Micheal Caine playing Austin Power's father (his greatest role ever) in "Goldmember" taking on Dr Evil's henchmen: Sharks(as Caine): "look at you, you're wearing those off the rack Blues sweaters. You don't stand a chance. Why don't you save yourself the trouble and just lie down and play dead? That's it, good boys!"
