The same day the Canucks’ Daniel Sedin was back practicing with his teammates, so was the Kings’ Jeff Carter.

It’s looking like both snipers will be ready for Game 1 Wednesday in Vancouver.

Carter missed the last five games of the regular season with a deep bone bruise in his ankle, but L.A. Times reporter Helene Elliott tweets that he was “skating, turning well” today.

Since joining the Kings from Columbus, Carter has six goals in 16 games. At that clip, he’d score 31 goals over a full season.

Los Angeles is 11-5-0 with the 27-year-old in the lineup.

Carter was skating on the second line with Mike Richards in the middle and Dwight King on the left side.

The easiest way to defeat the Canucks ? … JUST TAKE AWAY THEIR DOLLS !

With only 48 hours remaining before the onset of hostilities, we LA KIngs fans are now feeling more confident of victory than ever ! Jeff is likely a “go” for game 1 which only strengthens an offense that’s already bristling with firepower … we have the undisputed “top” goaltender in the league in Jonathan Quick and our defensive corps boasts at least 2 x legitimate “Norris” trophy candidates ! … the Canucks on the other hand are coming into this as a team literally “oozing” with arrogance and conceit … they’re already looking past us Kings, like we’re some kind of road kill on the side of the road … well we sure have a surprise in store for them ! …
