The last time the Rangers finished the season on top and opened the playoffs against a team that wiped them out in the regular season, they beat the Islanders in 4 and ultimately went on to win the Stanley Cup. While I don’t think the Rangers are as strong this year, nor strong enough to win the cup, considering who else is out there, I also don’t think the Senators will be the team that knocks them out.

Gee your might Rangers had 4 shots this season and only closed the deal once. They do that now and this baby is done in 5 maybe 6. Sens are tougher than you think. They will not be an easy out. Anderson is 6-0 at MSG and Sens Army will be loud and proud in Ottawa. Sens in 6.

Ottawa is a team that I root for and they bring a lot to the table, but I think that the Rangers will survive this round.

yes, they look awful. especially beating the flyers last week even by playing half the game shorthanded and still winning. This is all funny coming from flyers fans telling everyone how the senators will win, after their team went 0-6 vs the NYR and overmatched every single game. Flyers go by the adage they are a physical team. Toughness wise they cant compete with the Rangers are the senators arent a physically imposing team. the rangers will wear them down.
Worry about Philly vs Pitt. If you would have taken care of business vs a team that has no gas, you could have been the 1 seed, and not playing pitt. But, you were 0-6
