Dude …it is different that any other penalty. It’s something that is just simply not part of the game, at all. Of course it’s not the same as Keiths elbow or some other major infraction but it’s not just a simple play that didnt get called. It’s immature, (shocking when I first saw it this morning to be honest) ridiculous, and it flies in the face of literally everything about the game.

I wouldnt say suspension but I think this is one of the places that just highlights how out of toucoh it is that players can only be fined a max of $2,500. You should be able to throw a huge fine at him …and then move on.

I am not going to say its the same as too many men but it is a 2 min penalty. Thats it. Jerk move by Clowe. Yup you would think this would not happen but it did its in the book as a 2 min penalty. Refs missed it. The End. Will he get fined ? dont know , should he ? Yeah I think a $5000 fine like the one he got for slashing Ott is justified.

The sharks are a hard luck team that rarely has the ref’s on their side. Maybe this was their way of making it up to them

Oh no doubt you wanna try to sell this as a simple “too many men on the ice” if you’re the Sharks or a fan.

Problem is, he never tried to get on the ice. LOL
You can’t have it, you shouldn’t have to deal with stuff like this because nobody thinks someone would actually do what he did, but since he did. You gotta answer it somehow.

It doesnt happen because its a illegal play. Most players dont want to put their team on the pk. It should have been called and wasnt. That’s all folks ! Once again bad play by Clowe wasnt called. the end

As much as it pains LA Kings fans, I don’t believe Clowe would get a suspension. I think he’ll get a fine for that, maybe a 1 game suspension, but nothing too severe.

This is no different than any other penalty that should have been called that wasnt. Bad play by Clowe, not called move on. No one is talking about the hit on mitchell that put him out of the game. Why wasnt that “shocking” play called by the refs. Just makes for a good matchup on saturday ! Lets go Sharks !

Suspend him for a playoff game, you will never see him or any other do what he did again.

I didn’t see anything when it happened and then when the sharks feed showed the replay it made me sick. What an inexcusable play.

It was a cheap move- curious to see what the penalty is. But this isn’t why the Kings lost- they led the whole way- couldn’t put away SJ at home. They get a chance for redemption in SJ.
