HMMN. The ol' " renting of Players.... just around the Time of the Stanley Cup Playoffs ! I am wishing

Marty Turco the BEST and Most Just outcome in all of this !! He Proved His reliability with Russias'

Kontinental League in the pipes, just as He made a Good Showing with the Chicago Blackhawks

earlier. How old is Martin Brodour Over @ New Jersey ?? ( Will this Season be His Last ??) It is

somewhat of an "insult " to the wear --

with -- all of a Player in the N.H.L. or any other Professional Hockey Organizations, when a Player

is 'Rented "at the end of a season! Yes, I agree, it provides the Player some Ice Time and

consequentially keeps the "Wolf away from their Families' Door ". However, the Tension in the Act

reflects on the Hockey Club that is initiating the " Player Rental ", vs. the self -- esteem of the Player

vs. the "feasiblity " and Future of the Player Being Rented. At CONTRACT Renewal Time..... who

comes Out on -- top.... The Player, or the Franchise that has "Rented" Him ??

The many feel and think the Fair solution in the matter would hinge on affordable and acceptable

Severance Pay for the player that has been " rented ." In addition, He needs to be offered a WRITTEN

assurance by Both the League and the Franchise that held His last option. This Written assurance

would see that the Individual " Rentee " would be Utilized in an Athletic / Coaching position for a Team

that Needed His Specific Skill and Talent. (ie., a Goalie, make Him a Goalie Coach or a Forward /

Wing man, make him a Trainer/ coach of a Power Forward special team....Centre -- Centers' Coach

Defensemen....Defensive Line coach...etc., etc., . ) This would SEEM to solve or Remedy the

Everyone is out to get you. It's a vast NHL-wide conspiracy, and has nothing to do with the remaining three games being totally pointless to the Bruins. If it were the Flyers in this position you'd be expecting guys like Giroux and Bryzgalov to rest up a bit for a meaningless week, wouldn't you?

Khudobin is pretty good, really- he's buried in the depth chart behind Thomas and Rask, but that's two quality goalies ahead of him. On many NHL rosters, he'd at least be the #2 goalie, and I'd put him well ahead of the starter in a few cities. The Pens may beat him, but I don't think they'll have an easy time of it.

...unless the NHL makes the Bruins play without a goalie, in order to further their pro-Penguin agenda... right?

There is no need to play Thomas more than 20 minutes in any of the three remaining games. The Tuukka injury set Thomas back too much and now is the time to somewhat offset the impact of all of the games that Thomas played.

He did what was needed, get them a few starts till Khudobin was available. Refinitely time to retire though. Likely retirement time, can't see him pulling a Roloson.

$600,000 for the season, pay is per game so that prorates to $7317 each. He dressed for 12 games and appeared in 5 for a record of 2W 1L, so 15 with the last three.

$109,755.00 is a lot of biscuits for a month of hockey.

Well, got a few wins and another shot. Besides that one horrific game I think he did what was expected of him. With Rask not even skating yet it makes sense to give Khudobin some ice time as he may be backing up TT. Thanks Marty, good luck!
