Even though we wont be seeded as high as we have been in the previous post-lockout years, I feel more confident making a decent playoff run this year than in those past years. Also, the strong chance of seeing Devils/Rangers in the 2nd round is making me kinda wet.

Although the past couple have been against below-par squads, the offense seems to really be finding a groove. Zajac coming back from injury has been a blessing, he’s been dominating in faceoff circle, which is something this team was sorely lacking all season long. Zidli(ds)cky manning the point on the powerplay has been a godsend, the movement and fluidity of that unit has been a sight to behold in recent games and is getting red hot at just the right time.

I was at shutout 66 against Ottawa in 2003 (or 04) for Hockey Night in Canada. Can’t believe he is getting close to actually doubling that number.
