Ratto’s DEAD ON and Drew is a Sharks apologist and whining about the truth.

There is NO TRY, there is either DO or NOT DO.

I’v heard Drew be critical of the Sharks plenty of times. Remenda has carte blanche, he’s not in fear of his job. All of your questions need to be answered by the players, not coaches or announcers.

Reminds me of the epic radio battle last year between Remenda and Jason Botchford, a Vancouver Canucks beat reporters. Remenda hosts a radio program on CJME in Saskatoon and Botch was a guest near the end of last season. Remenda exploded when Botch suggested the President’s Trophy was meaningless. It made for great radio, and I came away with the impression that Remenda wasn’t so much offended by the notion that the President’s trophy itself was meaningless, as much as the suggestion that the Sharks president’s trophy could be called into question.

The sharks have made a habit of being on a roll every season only to fail in the playoffs. I wsould rather see them get on a roll in the playoffs than before the playoffs. I think they will be alright and make the playoffs and make some noise. Ray Ratto has never missed the buffet before and after games, but misses the point of what it takes to win!

Remenda has lost his mind and his take about how great of a coach Todd McLellan is just proves that point.

Least we all forget Remenda is a PAID employee of the Sharks, whereas Ray Ratto is not. Remenda is all about keeping his job and of course is going to ramble and disagree with anyone who says the Sharks suck this year. But Remenda wants to ignore the fact that the Sharks have a losing record in their own division. Lost 5 out of 6 to the worst team in the division and have won less game this year then any year since McLellan has been head coach. He talks about scoring and the fact that the team has trouble putting the puck in the net, but then gives no reason why? Why is it Drew that the team cannot put the puck in the net? Is it bad trades by the GM, or bad free agent signings like Michael Handzus? Or is it just the fact we have nobody willing to stand in front of the net. Or maybe it is because 95% of our shots are low percentage shots. Come on Remenda tell us why? I won’t hold my breath waiting for your Kool Aid drinking response.

Hey Drew, why was the team 24th on the PK last year, and 27th this year? Is that all luck, or because we ran into “Hot PP teams?” You know like how Phoenix the last rated team on the PP in the entire NHL scores on their ONLY PK attempt last night. That was all luck? Or maybe it was the coaches, or players? And why do we continue to make the same amount of mistakes, have the second most missed shots on net in the entire NHL Drew? Yeah we know it was just plain bad luck Or we ran into a “Hot” team at the wrong time.

Watching the longer clip, to be honest, I found myself nodding my head to Ratto’s comments. Bottom line, the Sharks are better than this. They’re more talented than teams like Phoenix or Dallas (at least on paper), they’re sure as hell better than 8-18 on the road. If they’re getting smacked around like this, you have to ask whether the team cares. The past few games, I haven’t had that impression. Remanda can complain all he wants, but at the end of the day the Sharks have blown this season.
