Tuukka would need two games minimum before the playoffs and Thomas could use the rest. Thomas has played too much and his numbers are taking a hit for it. At this point in their careers, Rask is a much better goalie than Turco. But Turco played a gutsy game in Ahaheim. If it’s his last game as an NHL goalie, it’s a great way to go out.

Good to have him back. Nothing against Turco, but… well, let’s be honest here, Rask > Turco, that’s just how it is.

…of course, putting in a guy who hasn’t played in a few weeks for his first game back in ANY of next week’s three games doesn’t look like fun.
