You never want to see the star players miss the playoffs.

With that said, I do have to wonder how Stamkos would fair without St. Louis and Lecavalier on his line. I mean despite being a dissapointment, Lecavalier is still a top not settup guy as is St. Louis. Its much easier to put up 50 goals when you have a great supporting cast. I wonder how well he would do without them, which will always be the true test for him when/if that day comes.
