When your defense allows numerous breakaways and chances right in front of the net, you have virtually zero chance as a goaltender. There were no bad goals last night. Save percentage isn’t always an indication of goaltender play.

Also, the fact that they lost to a Tampa team who had NINE REGULARS who didn’t dress last night is what scares me the most. How can we expect to get past the Bruins/Rangers/Pens if we can’t beat a banged up Lightning squad?

Well, you’re partially right. I missed the majority of the second period. But what I did see, I did not enjoy. Bryz’s save percentage last night? 0.714

Granted the empty net goal, and the Carle turnover goal weren’t Bryz’s fault, he could have played much better.

Shouldn’t have lost last night. Bryz played like he had been before March 1st. That lost scares me, a lot.
