There's something wrong with Noel's system I think. The Jets d-men are always scrambling to get back to their zone when the other team gets the puck. Part of the problem, IMO, is that they have a whole bunch of offensive d-men, which is fine until they get caught flatfooted in the other team's zone. You'd think Huddy, who covered Coffey's keester in Edmonton, would figure that out and make the necessary changes. Byfuglien has little to no hustle and seems to do little except send guys flying with a little push if he manages to catch them. They need to put him up at RW because he is a terror when he's playing offensively. Get Flood playing again too. I'm just hoping they get a top-10 draft pick because there's a glut of good d-men in the pool this year.

I agree that Pavlec has every right to be upset and frustrated. I noticed last night at the game when he swung his stick across the crossbar after the Sens 5th goal.

There biggest problem is they don't have two consistent scoring lines to create match up troubles for other teams.

Pavelec, Byfuglien, Wheeler and Bogosian are their star players. Burmistrov has the highest ceiling on the team. Little plays well when Wheeler's playing well. Same with Ladd. Kane, in my opinion, has no hockey sense. I have yet to see him pass up a low chance shot when there's a man open. All defencemen know his one move. I say trade him if the right offer comes up.

Hard to do anything but respect the guy. He's absolutely played his heart out this season and now it seems they'll still manage to come up just a little short. To give everything you've got like that and then see your teammates blow it on careless mistakes must cut deep. Guy's done nothing but buy them victories. They owe him better than they give.

HAS ANYBODY WATCHED THIS TEAM ON TV? its been a long time since i've ever seen a team play with such reck-loose abandon, they rush so fast into the attacking zone that they get caught if the puck goes to the other team and have to scramble back while a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 forms! The "Jets" may be the most appropriately named team in the league!

Can't blame him for being frustrated, but it's very hard to criticize this team given that the talent level just isn't there. Yes, there are some guys like Kane and Byfuglien, but most of the roster is a bunch of no-name scrappers. And the heart they've shown in staying in this race until now is pretty impressive, in my worthless opinion.

Can't blame the guy, he's carried this team on his back all year & there still mediocre. At the start of the year the Jets couldn't score enough goals to win the 2-1, 3-2 games & now they're scoring 3-6 goals a game but it's pointless because they're letting in 4-7 goals a game. Goodfor Pavy for being honest
