Granlund will sign, he has told Wild management he will sign once his season is done with (like you said) and or after World Championships... either way, he will be a Wild before the draft!

I believe they have Coyle and Phillips signed, too. Definitely need to make sure Granlund is locked up ONCE HIFK's season is over.

Signed and will most likely be playing Thursday pending health. Good move by Fletcher. This will burn a year of his entry level contract I believe but it doesn't matter that much when we still have Granlund / Coyle / Bulmer / Larsson / Phillips / 2012 draft pick to sign in the next year to 2 years as well... I wouldn't be shocked if they try to sign Bulmer early too

To be honest I really don't know if the Wild would take Grigorenko if they had the chance.... He is a wild card top prospect that can easily go either way, bust or top 6 player... his attitude and dedication need serious work and I am not sure a team looking to improve now / next year is looking for that kind of a future player. I see them going with Yakupov (if they win the lottery), Forsberg, or Murray (I think Murray in the top 3 is crazy talk but who knows)

either way I trust Fletcher and I would easily be happy with Grigorenko but I am not sure it's the Wild's way. Canadian or Scandinavian is how we have drafted for the last 10 years, Fletcher could throw a curve ball and go Russian tho, who knows.

It will be an exciting summer for Minny
