1) Hopefully those jerseys go for a lot to help cancer research. Wished more teams do that.

2) I miss the black Flyers jerseys. Wished they can bring them back in some form.

Yah, Cane’s black jersey is good. Sens stripe jersey is good. Bruins all black is good. The Kings and Pens “legacy” jerseys are good — know why? They actually have a legacy. Trying to look fake olde tyme like Florida or Columbus = weak sauce. Glad this FLA monstrosity is going away.

The Pens baby blue original winter classic jerseys are beauties, same with the Wings old english D jersey even though they don’t wear them. And the Sens alternates are pretty spiffy too.

By my count, that’s eleven teams (Calgary, Carolina, Chicago, Detroit, Florida, Minnesota, Montreal, New Jersey, Ottawa, Phoenix, and Washington) that wear some form of red as their primary color, more than a third of the league. Monotony much?

Minnesota’s thirds are great. Way better than their homes. Anytime you try to work three colors (Florida) it’s not going to end well.

Perhaps the Wild’s all-green getup? Much, MUCH better than their horrendous green-and-red Christmas costume. Worst color combination in the NHL IMO, alternate jerseys aside.

Very few teams 3rd jerseys turned out good. Remember the Islanders “Gordon’s Fisherman”monstrosity? Really bad.
