I love this rumor; assuming Gauthier and Cunneyworth are fired and that Roy and Hartley are hired, all before Gauthier and Cunneyworth are actually fired. It is pretty clear that they should be fired, but it's not all bad. They have a chance to win the lottery this summer, and pick up some nice high picks.

Maybe someone can play this game with Burke; let's find out who the next GM of the Leafs should be.

This really does make to much sense. As an Avs fan, I was upset that Hartley was fired and even more so when Tony Granato got two cracks at coaching the team.

It makes so much sense that anywhere else it would be likely. But... if it makes sense, why would the Habs do it? ;)

Kidding aside, it would be good to see Hartley return to the NHL. His firing in Colorado made no sense, and he didn't have a particularly good Atlanta team to work with- why he hasn't worked since is beyond me.

Combine that with my being a huge Roy fan, and it's going to be hard for me to continue my hatred of Montreal, at least as much as I'd like to.
